How we work

From scope to shipped.

Every Freedman Systems build follows the same discipline. Here is what that looks like in practice, from the first call to launch.

01 /

Discovery call (15 minutes)

One call. No deck, no prepared pitch. We talk about what you are trying to fix, what you have tried before, and whether a custom system would actually move the needle. If it is not a fit, we say so in the call.

02 /

Scoping document (3 to 5 business days)

We write a plain-language spec: what the system does, how it connects to your existing tools, what the data flow looks like, what we are not building. You review it, ask questions, push back. Nothing starts until we both agree on what done means.

03 /

Build (3 to 8 weeks depending on scope)

Weekly progress updates. Real timeline, not estimates. The build runs in a staging environment you have access to throughout. You see it before it touches production.

04 /

Launch and maintain

We ship to your accounts, your data, your workflow. Monthly retainer covers monitoring, uptime, maintenance, and future iterations. We get paged when something breaks. You see it fixed before your next morning. Managed services run on our infrastructure. If the engagement ends, they stop. Website and app code is fully yours. You get complete documentation either way.
